Very interesting unique hotel. Very art deco Japanese. There was a built in karaoke in the wall and all the surround sound you cold dream of. It was exactly as pictured, and in a good part of Shinjuku to explore. The bed was pretty comfy, they were extremely generous with waters, face serums, they gave you a hair clip, tooth brushes, hair brush, and restocked the face masks everyday. The shower room was cool and it was the only hotel that had Netflix, it’s in the nightclub part of town. We were surrounded by them. We didnt attend but it was definitely a cool part of Shinjuku. You could also rent costumes and stuff if you wanted to, haha. We didn’t do that. And you could rent the rooms by the hour, so if that tells you anything, this is a very flexible hotel.

*Lots* to like here. Room is 2-3x the size of anywhere else I've stayed in Japan. Room features are over the top: not only is there actual-living-space including couch and table and countertops, there's a massage chair, a sauna, a jetted tub, a huge walk-in shower, and tons of beauty amenities (and a place to use them) for my partner. We didn't really take advantage of it, but there's a huge tv, surround sound, and karaoke as well. We wanted to give love hotels a try, and we're really glad we did, will be staying at one again when we return to Tokyo.

Hotel D-Wave is in a great location, walking distance to many bars and restaurants in Shinjuku. The rooms are very big, and the price per night cannot be beat! It is a 'Love Hotel', meaning there are rooms available by the hour, but this did not impact our stay whatsoever. The facilities are extremely clean, our room was made daily and the beds were comfortable. There was even a private sauna in our room! I would not hesitate to stay here again when we return to Hotel D-Wave

Friendly staff, jaccuzi was awesome, mist sauna is so good. Nice amenities, everything we used was replaced each day. The tub was clean, the room was clean, and was cleaned each day (when we left for the day the staff asked us if we would like cleaning) The room featured dry sauna, mist sauna, jaccuzi with cool lights and amazing water pressure to fill it, TV in the bathroom, big TV in the actual room and a massage chair.

Decent location if you're interested in Tokyo nightlife as the hotel is just on the edge of Kabukicho, the main red light district of Tokyo. The room was somewhat crowded but included a lot of great features, such as a sauna, a massage chair, free movies and a great bathroom. Staff were generally very helpful.
